Technology

QPV have developed and built an exclusive on line virtual valuation management system. The system forms the integral part of the QPV revolution of the industry. This system is centrally networked from the main office and enables management to track the progress of all reports in actual time, from an initial instruction through to the completion & release of the final report.

The QPV online database has enabled the company to grow & handle increased demands & instructions without faulting. Turn around times, accuracy & professionalism have fallen away within the industry, however these issues have only improved at QPV.

The system is operational via logins and password codes, accessible 24/7. Implementation of the system together with utilisation of hand held touch screen technology allows for on site completion and delivery of reports. A full time electronic solution for the valuation industry with a series of incorporated database technologies. QPV management system is compliant with modern Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)

Designed by Joe Amendolia and constructed by a Sydney based technology firm, it meets all industry guidelines and represents the codes and responsibilities set by the Australian Property Institute & Department of Fair Trading. The system operates through an online server and driven as a Microsoft website solution. This is not an individual program that has to be loaded onto a PC, and has not been duplicated for any other firm. It is copyrighted & owned by QPV with all existing use rights.

The purpose of designing this system was to reduce turnaround times, reduce overheads and increase productivity without cutting corners.

Components of the database:

  • Acceptance of online client instructions
  • Valuer & client electronic correspondence with times, dates & delays
  • Hand held touch screen data entry
  • Internal database of collated research material
  • Previews & formats
  • Automatic report & invoice configuration
  • Risk management analysis
  • Instant electronic report & invoice delivery
  • Direct ability to transfer data to accounting software
  • Access to internal portfolio of past reports
  • Monthly audits & progress reports

Over the years, valuation firms have continued to grow, meeting demands, client instructions & moving forward with progression. The most important factor which has been forgotten is, as times have changed, new forms of technology have reinvented the society we live in. If there is an industry that technology had been lacking in, it's the valuation industry. With growth comes increased demands, demands can not be met unless the correct protocols & strategies are introduced.
